How to measure resin and hardener?
Check the ratio (1:1, 2:1, 3:1) on the label of the resin bottles before you start mixing.
Part A is Resin, and Part B is Hardener.
For 1:1 bottles, e.g., 15 ml of resin requires 15 ml of hardener.
For 2:1 bottles, e.g., 30 ml resin requires 15 ml of hardener.
For 3:1 bottles, 30 ml of resin requires 10 ml of hardener.
Did you get it? It is as simple as that.
Before you start mixing,
Always use a paper cup or a silicon cup to mix both liquids.
Make sure you don’t spill the liquid onto your dress or floor. It can be really messy and spoil your clothes and any surface it comes in contact with.
Mix the liquid in either a clockwise or an anticlockwise direction.
Be patient and mix slowly.
Stir for at least 3 minutes.
If you don’t get a clear mixture even after three minutes, continue mixing.
Mix mix and mix….
If you see bubbles, don’t panic.
Let it rest for some time, or else use a bubble popper to burst all of them.
If you pour the mixture while it has bubbles, the end product wouldn’t look so fine. Do not compromise the quality of your product.
